Notes about 'Whiskey': I forget the name of the movie, but when I was a kid, I saw a cowboy movie where the bad guy carried a Bible . It contained a hollow spot inside that was carved out - where he kept his gun. I sort of lifted that idea and wrote about someone toting whiskey inside their Bible instead. I know that there have been times in my

It contained a hollow spot inside that was carved out - where he kept his gun. I sort of lifted that idea and wrote about someone toting whiskey inside their Bible instead. I know that there have been times in my life that I was so low, I thought maybe God himself couldn't even hear me. This is one of those songs that I think we have all lived through at one point in our lives....or will. No matter how much you try to forget something, someone, or both - sometimes your sadness gets the best of you. I tried several different verses until everything just kind of fell into place at the last minute right before tracking the vocals. Our friend Matt Hooper adds great violin parts to this tune. We're very proud of it! - Bill
Notes about 'Sleepyhead': I was doing a soundcheck while recording at home and just began playing this simple chord progression. It sounded strong enough to me to leave it as an instrumental. It's a simple piece that would be a perfect instrumental for a sound track... - Bill
Notes about 'McCord': One of my favorite things to do is to sit on the porch at night and listen to the mockingbirds. There are usually two, a few trees apart, having a conversation with one another. It isone of the most beautiful things in the world. Just the varied sounds of these two lonely birds at night - with nothing else going on. One night

It is one of the most beautiful things in the world. Just the varied sounds of these two lonely birds at night - with nothing else going on. One night while listening, the idea for a song popped into place. My thoughts immediately turned to a friend that we all lost a few years ago. A young gay man named Reginald McCord. He was a bright spirit whose warmth burned out way too soon. I dedicated this song to him. -Bill
Notes about 'Knocking on Heaven's Door': I was testing out a new microphone and trying to get better at recording on my own at home when I tracked this Bob Dylan cover.I kept the second take and sent it on to I-tunes. A while later, I was lucky enough to have my version added to a popular playlist that is endorsed by Spotify. Now, the song has

Now, the song has been heard by over 6 million listeners in over 130 different countries! So cool! - Bill
Notes about 'The Last Drag': 'The Last Drag' is a song written by one of my all time favorite groups called 'The Samples'. The original version features sounds of dogs barking off in the distance among other sounds. It's such a great song to chill out with. I hope Sean thinks that I did the song justice. Please check them out! - Bill
Notes about 'Nightblindness': This is my take on an awesome tune by David Gray. Not much to mention here except that I recorded it very simply at home and all in one take! -Bill
